The Water for Good on Holidays initiative has already been a big hit with South Australia’s caravan parks. In partnership with SA Parks close to 200 caravan parks across South Australia are now encouraging their guests to use water more wisely during their stay.

The Awards are recognised as the premier event on the tourism calendar, attracting widespread interest throughout the State. They are held annually to showcase South Australia’s most successful and professional tourism operators in a range of categories. Australian Tourism Exchange

Australian Tourism Exchange

The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), the largest trade show of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, will be held in Adelaide at the Convention Centre from 29 May to 4 June , providing a forum for Australian tourism businesses to showcase their products, meet overseas contacts and negotiate business deals.
ATE10 also provides the international trade and media with an opportunity to experience Adelaide and South Australia first-hand. Approximately 700 buyers from more than 40 countries will be joined by around 1700 Australian delegates from 600 companies at this year’s ATE.
South Australia will be well represented with more than 50 South Australian operators exhibiting on the SA stand (and many more represented in the national area and on other state stands). But the really great news is that over 70% of the South Australian product is accredited and 38% will be climate action certified, making a strong statement to visitors that they can be assured of quality South Australian tourism experiences and their commitment to sustainability and climate change.
For those of our members that are attending, we wish you a very successful ATE and look forward to catching up with you at the event.

There's Nothing Like Australia

There's Nothing Like Australia

The latest Tourism Australia campaign, There's nothing like Australia, invites you and your guests to share your stories and showcase your unique holiday places and experiences.

This is our chance to ensure that South Australia is well represented by uploading your favourite South Australian holiday moments to the website, www.nothinglikeaustralia.com, and describing your picture in 25 words or less, beginning with the words "There's nothing like ________".

Tourism Australia will then use the collected entries to create an interactive web-based map showing all the things Australians think are special about this country, to be launched at the end of May on www.australia.com as the Ultimate Insiders’ Guide to Australia.

Entries are needed by 12 May, so get busy telling your story and together we can make South Australia the most compelling destination in Australia to visit!
